TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

0830 Hours Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch box. Tarangire National Park is a beautiful and quiet park in northern Tanzania, a little further from the main game trails. It is known for elephant migrations, bird watching and a true safari atmosphere. Most visitors to the area either miss Tarangire entirely, or venture into the park for a few hours - leaving large swathes of Tarangire virtually untouched! Depart the park in the late afternoon and drive to Manyara for dinner and overnight at Kizumba campsite (full board)

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, head to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch box and drive to Serengeti for a game drive. Serengeti National Park is the most famous national park in Africa. Known for its incredible concentration of predators and the Great Migration of two million herbivores, a safari here is guaranteed to be spectacular. The endless grasslands are some of the most fertile pastures in the African bush and are therefore home to the largest herds and concentration of predators on Earth. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Camp (full board)

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the amp/lodge for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full day game drive with picnic lunch. After the game drive, you will return back to Seronera campsite/rest house.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro

On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. After the game drive, we return to the camp/ lodge for a rewarding brunch and then we’ll proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft. high walls, making it virtually a Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, and a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. Later in the evening you will drive to Simba campsite  in Ngorongoro for an overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Cratert

After a hearty breakfast, we make our way to the gates of Ngorongoro Crater, where we descend into the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera. An abundance of wildlife graces this infamous area, known worldwide for its stunning landscape. Enjoy spotting a multitude of different species, from elephants, hippos, and giraffes to the majestic Crater Lions and ravenous hyenas. Enjoy a waterfront stop for lunch, enjoying the spectacular views and a bite to eat before you head out for your afternoon game drive. After ascending to the crater rim, we will head back to the camp or Lodge for the evening.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Today we will head for Lake Manyara National Park, for a morning game drive. Lunch will be served at a picnic site after you enter the park and catch your first glimpses of the wildlife and spectacular scenery. After lunch, make your way through the park snapping photos of all the wildlife that call this area home, with the lake serving as a spectacular backdrop. After a full afternoon of game drives, head back to Arusha in the evening.
